Hello..I read your comments and my mouth literally fell open. I too am in a similar boat (coming up to 5 years) and I miss London so bad it hurts!

I would say wait till spring.... it can get bitterly cold in the winter here (did I say BITTERLY?) I myself came in the spring 4 years ago.... and I still dread the winters here.

I am a permanent resident... been here for 3 years.. will head back to UK but will try to renew PR card when I am able to.

thanks all.... yeah I did consider the financial situation of the UK but I still want to risk it and head back... it has got a point where I literally dont want to be in the city anymore... people...

been in Toronto for 3 years now and i have now made the fateful decision to head back to the UK.

I have not enjoyed TO at all... torontonians too cliquey, very cold and not friendly at...
