No it doesn't, they just 'take' the money and hope that you don't notice the difference between what is transferred and what you receive.

I'm doing 6 months in Germany while our house on the Sunny Coast gets built and the trains in Germany are unbelievable expensive...even when booked in advance.

$40 each way to the airport and $32...

Try http://www.grandpacificdrive.com.au/ for the first bit. Be warned about the traffic queues at Christmas on the coast road and all the police speed checks (double demerits) and RBTs every 10kms.

I've always used www.megabuy.com.au Only problem I had was when a Lenovo laptop I bought off them went bad after 6 weeks. They were useless, in the end I just called Lenovo direct and they sorted...

Yes, we are living in Germany until end of Feb '14 while we get a new house built on the Sunshine Coast....the company I got a new job with thought it was a good idea and it saved us...

As well as the 457, I think you need a licence from the relevant State to deal in real estate, though I think some can get away with working under/for a licenced person.

I used to go to the one above the Soul Patterson chemist in Sutho - near the St George Bank. As dentists go...they were OK and defo cheaper than the one I went to recently in Townsville.
