Basically, you pay for everything in Ireland!! Dental work is expensive, as can a visit to the Doctor/Hospital be. If you have a number of children you probably are better off with health insurance....

Forgot to say......trainers need to be changed on average every 3 months depending on the mileage your doing. Once wear is noticeable or the trainer can be "wrung" its past it sell by date.
