We have the removals coming to pack up our house tomorrow. Getting a bit stressed, but it will be worth it. Spending next two weeks visiting family, probably be more stressfull than packing. Anyone else at the point of had enough now and just wanting to get on that plane.

For all those flying on the 15th will have to post nearer to the time, to let us know what time you are getting to Heathrow.

It's forecast to be 19 degrees today but it drops quite a bit at night and can feel chillier than it sounds! It's been raining this weekend but we're all really grateful as gardens and farmers really need the rain and bonkers as it sounds, you'll learn to love the rain too

Mitra - are you looking for cheap accommodation or easy? I ask because we stayed in the Grand Apartments on Melbourne St when we arrived - not cheap but fully furnished and bills/internet included plus really handy position for getting to know the city. If you want details just PM me.

As for bank transfers, we moved our money with Moneycorp and they were excellent - I believe they get better rates than the banks on your exchange too. We're with HSBC now but it wasn't easy from the UK end - ended up signing up as Premier customers and it becomes a totally different bank then.....

Good luck guys, as Kat says let us know if there's anything specific.

Sounds like a plan. Isnt it funny how so many of us are going to Adelaide on the 15th?!

Thanks for the info Pinkie. It sounds like the weather in Adelaide now is just like the weather in the UK at the moment!

I will look into moneycorp.

my last day at work is wednesday next week, then I have to think about all that we have to do before we go. have you all sorted out bank transfers? Is HSBC the best bank to use?

We should def all try and find a time to meet, am sure we wil message each other closer to the time.

Kat, It will be good to know the temp at the moment as It will be handy to know what to wear when i step off the plane!
Make sure you are carrying a jumper or coat, especially if you are arriving in the morning as it's a bit nippy at that time of day.

We used http://www.ukforex.co.uk/ to transfer our money

Well boxes have gone and all of a sudden it seems like a huge relief!!

I'm dressing as Felicity Shagwell from Austin Powers and OH is Steve Urwin (with huge orange croc!!) There's no theme just the funnier the better!

Believe me.. that 13 wks will absolutely fly by, I remember when we had 11 wks to go and I was saying how slowly it was passing. Now I dont where it went so quickly!!

Well to all of you that are also flying on 15th June - Not long to go

How are you all feeling? , we have packed and repacked trying to get our luggage allowance down, we think we should be ok -providing the scales are ok.

Anyway are we still going to try and meet up at Heathrow?

Keep us posted and happy packing
