Going rate for electrical contractors is around $80 per hr, subies around $50 per hour, $45 plus benefits if fly in fly out and between 25 - 35, depending on who your working for, for others.

No trouble finding a job. If you look at seek.com.au you will see loads advertised on a daily basis. Mine work really does pay that well, if not better, but you've got to be prepared to work away...

Count your selfs lucky. Yesterday we spent 2.5hrs getting ours done only to be told at the end of it that i need a bloody medical because of high blood pressure, to top it all off we're not even sure...
