I would get PR if i were you and forget the sponsorship route. If you are waiting for your house to sell then you have probably got plenty of time!!

We did exactly the same...i had a job offer (although we had PR) and i worked as a nurse until my hubbie got a job.This took about 2 months.My hubbie was a manager in the UK of 15 years experience...

Thanks for your replies. I rang a Doctors Practice in Southport who told me it could be $200 for an initial consultation!!
$50 isnt too bad though.
Where do i find out about Family Planning Clinics...

Hi can anyone recommend a Dr who bulk bills in the Helensvale area of the Gold Coast?
My daughter is just needing a "pill" prescription and doesnt want to pay$200 just to see the Dr for him to write...

Thats true.I have never seen so much pandering to doctors in my life before coming over here!
I too have over 20 years experience (in theatre) and have found it very difficult over here to fit...
