Melbourne is fairly temperate. It does have hot days but these rarely come together so you can cope a little better.

Melbourne also has changing seasons. winter can be "cold" - not to UK...

With regards to migrant fares I contacted Travel Bag who spoke to me about what we needed and then she designed the package. They let the airline know you are emigrating and this doubles the baggage...
