We live in Frenchs Forest and its only 10 mins to Terry Hills. I think this a great area for families. Close to the beaches, schools etc. This area is preferable to St Ives which is very upmarket...

We bought our TV's and we couldnt use them. We ended up buying new ones so I would say dont bother. Try selling the before you leave because once you bring them here they are pretty much worthless.

If you are looking at northern beaches then the best suburbs are Harbord, Allambie Heights, Beacon Hill, Colloroy Plateau ,Dee Why, Frenchs Forest and others. I would say better than Pymble/Wahroonga...
