Four and a half years and love it. Came from Hampshire before I came here - grew up in the fens near Cambridge.

Cheers,

7 weeks, we are originally from Plymouth and Cornwall but lived in Bristol for 5 years before we came out here to Perth.

We are loving it, I landed a job in our first week and everything has fallen into place from there. Now we are living in Connolly and looking for a house to buy somewhere near here.

3.5 yrs.....bloody hell that long

I am still homesick but have a lovely life here.

From Belfast originally...married a lovely English Lad, from Berks, Reading, which was home for over 15 yrs.

Real thoughts - Not going to die here but will have some fun first enjoying ourselves.

Cheers

1 year and nearly two months. The missus has kicked the homesickness now. Looking forward to the warmer weather. Been employed since mid-June and desperately need a pay rise. Can't pluck up the courage to ask the boss yet though. Apart from that, still enjoying it here.

Was your wife's homesickness really bad before? As that is my main concern about emigrating?
