The proper shirt is white, with the Rose, and the bits of red on it - very descriptive I know...!? (Just said proper shirt because last year you could get VERY suspect ones from Spinney's!!)

The Meat Co in the Madinat souk is definitely worth a visit. It's a South African restaurant. If you are a meat eater you will love it. If you don't eat steak they have a few fish/game dishes.
