You should count weeks from the date of 'documents received'. 16 weeks is the maximum time ACS takes, it could be well before that. After this time you can contact ACS to know about status.

3) You HAVE to attest every page, you DON'T need to sign, only ATTESTER needs to sign EVERY page.

Do we require to send all certified certificates via post to DIAC after lodgement of e-visa. If yes, on what address ? I am not able to find any information on DIAC site. help appriciate.

I think your actual status is "With Assessor", otherwise they are sending mail that "your result is about to post with registered post number. wait for 3 - 4 days as this is normal time to change...

Got ACS letter today, found suitable under PIM3 group A with skills Analyst programmer. Thanks for support throughout the process.

Thanks Dorothy...I am on 457 currently. so this means I dont require to obtain any 'police certificate' from my home country at this point, right ? otherwise this could be time consuming.

The ideal steps should be : Go for ACS assessment, in mean time clear IELTS and then apply for appropriate visa. go through ACS thoroughly.
