We had quotes of £6500 - Pickfords and £4100 from DB, waiting for Crowns quote to come in. North East to Melbourne. DB also said they could get the shipment there faster than Pickfords :huh:

Yes the 17% is a Uni too and they contribute all of it. However they do split the amounts so you know the wage amount as well on the contract.

Can anyone give me some kind of indication as to deductions on Pay? For example in the UK it is Tax and NI which as a ballpark figure I normally deduct 25% and it is not far off take home pay. I am...

Sorry we would be renting as we are renting our house out in the UK for a year or 2 while we get settled in.
