Thanks for that info as have asked around and nobody seems to know if you cross the border for weeks/days or even hours and need an ambulance just who is responsible for the bill. It is good to know...

Does this also mean if you are travelling from Queensland to NSW, Vic with no private health care cover that you should take out a separate travel insurance?

Best have a look in the news at what is happening in Brisbane at the moment with all the floods. Just need to be aware if you are buying in certain areas. May only happen every 20-30 years but...

Instead of feather and down, 100% wool quilts are available here at quite a number of stores. They are the Oz equivalent and in my opinion far superior.:thumbup:

Look at realestate.com.au - pick the suburbs you would like to buy in and then check out all the "open houses" in those areas. You can then just wander around like anyone else no need to go through...

Wish I could take trousers to be altered but they never have a hem long enough!! Guess when you take yours along they maybe lose their line. Looks like I have no option but to put an order through...
