I dont see many Americans Iron either. They either wear clothes wrinkled or put it in the tumble drier for 20 mins and think its OK. Well out in redneckville anyway.

If I was to transfer say 1K GBP from my UK bank account into my US account via FXtrade and made a few quid transferring it back to GBP (assuming the exchange rate drops) am i liable for tax on this...

Yes - been a Amex card member since 2010 and used responsibly. Dont look like there's much more i can do for now without a SSN.

Honestly, I really don't see what the hassles are getting non secured cards, because as I say, I got three top ones within a week of being here.

What route are you searching for ? maybe its going to be pulled. USair stopped Gatwick to Philly last year and a bunch of other routes.

Also airlines sell bulk blocks of seats to "screenscrapers"...
