Re: Black Friday
neither. Will be getting up early for work
I had thought of trying to go this year because we are skint....but I signed up to one of those email alert things when stores announce their deals, and there's really nothing that interests me enough to get out of bed at 4am

Re: Black Friday
i'm sorely tempted. After one mess around after another I'm without a "posh" suite for the sitting room. I just can't excited enough about it to get up at 4 am

There's that site that lists all the black friday sales early, from leaked advertising and they all look shit this year...might pop into Target and do the grocery shop after dropping the missus off at work and that's about it.

Hmmm I may end up in Walmart or Michaels, only because I want to get a Cricut for my crafting neice and they are soooo much cheaper than she could get one in the UK.

Re: Black Friday
I'm staying home, though am always fascinated by Black Friday and have been out in it before. But there's nothing I need to get this year. I may watch for news reports on TV.
DH has to work from 1 AM to 11 AM on Black Friday, in big-box retail. All you shoppers, please be kind to the staff this holiday season - it's their sacrifices* that make your buying extravaganzas possible!
* Yeah, yeah, when they asked him to work that day he COULD have said no....but saying no to management requests tends to put you lower down in the rankings when future schedules are made, promotions are offered, budgets are cut, etc...

Sleeping in.
I'm doing most of my shopping online - I can't stand the crowds.
Also if I go to the retail sites via airlines I have Frequent Flyer cards with ie. Continental Airlines and American Airlines, I get bonus airmiles too!

My husband has added Amazon Black Friday deals to our desktop already! I shop though airline websites and cashback websites quite frequently. It's amazing how the cashback and miles add up!

Re: Black Friday
This is my first Black Friday here. We have been warned not to go anywhere near the shops
Even though there are many bargains to be had, I just can't bear the thought of all those manic people. It's either on-line shopping for me or nothing.
I am going to go for the lie in option on this one.

Be sure to watch any coverage on your local news - it's always fun to watch the people waiting/shopping, especially if it's snowing heavily and you're warm at home.
