Default NC weather question

Random question.

Does the NC summers compare with FL ? Or is it a bit cooler ? More bearable ?

What about the Winters ?

I was referring to Charlotte, Greensboro, Salem.

Thanks

RC

Cooler, but summers can still be pretty brutal - walking outside is not pleasant in July/August.

Winter is much cooler here than FL and we get snow occasionally, and the odd winter we can also get freezing rain.

Summer is hot, humid and very sticky. Doing anything outside in the peak of the summer is not good.

Spring and Fall are the best, particularly Spring when the weather starts warming up, but the humidity hasn't yet kicked in.

Basically we get four seasons here but with hot summers and (generally) mild winters.

I agree with Sue.
We do get four seasons, but summers are very long, March-Oct/Nov and quite unbearable if you go outside between May-Sep.
