Yes, we sent three tea cartons with them. The guy on the phone was lovely, and everything arrived where and when they said it would, and unbroken.

Only downer was the sub-contracted pick-up...

We are a week behind you, Bevissa, and like you are settling in well. We had to spend a week in Auckland before heading down to our new home in Invercargill, so we've only had two weeks to set up...

They offer one way trip insurance, the cover seems similar to the Post Office, but for £36 instead of £90 :blink:

Does anyone have any advice on obtaining insurance for the one way trip?

I assume that our visas mean we don't need the usual medical cover, but what about lost luggage/flight cancellation etc?...

We got seriously shafted on the sale of our house :frown: , so we are coming over with just enough to buy a car, pay first two months' rent and bills and rental deposit, and buy essentials to keep us...

Sale is obviously more of a hole than Altrincham, but then Aucklanders would possibly say the same of the Southland!
