We used www.wotif.com to get some really good deals. My husband stayed in the Stamford Plaza(top hotel) for $99 a night and we stayed as a family at the Sky City hotel (joined to the sky tower)...

7 working days! It would appear I was fast-tracked through being a nurse (either that or the NZ embassy in London were experiencing a quiet spell before Xmas). Caught us by surprise really - good job...
