Having just had a look at the 'whos leaving soon thread' I couldn't help but notice there is quite a few future kiwis out there now!
So just thought I would start a thread where we could see you all together with your arrival dates and destinations.
Looking forward to you all joining us in the land of the long white cloud

We are Rick, Kara, Matthew (9) and Nicole (8).
Leave England Sunday 30th November, spend 12 days in USA and land in Auckland 14th December. We're spending 3 days in Hamilton, 8 days in Palmerston North and then 3 days in Wellington for Xmas.
Can't wait, I am so excited.
We've not decided where we want to settle I think it will be Wellington.

Ben, moving out of my home today, leave Wednesday, arrive Auckland Friday. Staying with a friend for a few days while I look for somewhere to rent.
Plan to settle on the North Shore if the exchange rate/property price combination hasn't priced me out of the market!

Polly (that's me), Nick (that's Hubby) and Bracken (that's the dog) hopefully coming out April-ish time, unless we can get a few things sorted out and then it might be sooner!!
Settling in New Plymouth, initially, as that's where Hubby's new job, working for the District Council, is.

Carin (34) & Jim (28), STILL trying to get to NZ - have both done degrees as that's what NZIS wanted - now they've moved the bloomin' goalposts & I'm in the middle of a Master's!
Aiming for Christchurch although Dunedin could be a possibility - more than likely South Island unless a good job is offered oop North.
Have visited & toured twice & have a good idea of prices/ distances etc.
Aiming for Sept 2004 departure with our two cats.

Hi there fellow wannabe's
We are family of 5, 3 kids aged 14, 4 and 20 months, and are hoping to leave for Akl beginning of January. We both have jobs in Akl and are looking at the Howick region. I am a nurse and husband is a graphic designer. We just missed the PR visa application by a few days and are now applying for a work to residence visa.
Good luck to all

Hi,
Roger (41), May (43) and Molly (21 in dog years). Moved to sunny Hawkes Bay in September and enjoying it, particularly sitting in vineyards, but not when looking at my pay slip.
