I am not sure on exact figures but from memory I think you have to hold a certain amount of savings to be able to emigrate and possibly have that money in your bank for a period of time. In any case...

My mother would be the main visa application, she is a nurse and is 50. I have heard that for New Zealand (our second option) I can go on a family visa if I show that I will be in Education!
