Re: Bishops Stortford - what can you tell me?

Re: Any new Brits in the Woodlands?

Perhaps it's time to arrange another British Expats Houston get-together? I'll put a note on the meet-up section and see if we can get one organized. We can do it somewhere central - like a...

Re: Yet another medical insurance thread ...

I'm not sure there's a way to get around the co-pays and deductibles being scary! You're right that there are lots of different plans out there. What I concentrated on, when putting the plan in...

Re: Yet another medical insurance thread ...

I pay the whole premium for my staff! Have to admit I don't cover the co-pay and deductible though. That would probably bankrupt me if one of them got really sick. Our out of pockets are quite low...

Re: Advice for thirtysomethings with opportunity to move from London to NY

Adding my two penneth to say on the surface of things, it sure looks like you should go for it. With no kids to worry about, you're far more flexible to head back to the UK or off somewhere else if...

Re: 221 g number not on list been 7 weeks

This happened to us in 2005. It was about an 8 week process during which we could find out nothing. It was horrible. We did get visas in end though but the delay was costly and stressful.
