So apparently is drinking instant coffee when there is a coffee machine in the office!!!

I just call it being lazy....

LOL - I think it's sensible to make one cup of instant coffee rather than a whole jug of filter if there is only you. Otherwise the jug stews before you can finish it OR you drink it all and have palpiations....

EDIT - or we are heathens....

They have a proper machine that does expresso - lattes, etc!!!

I have been there 3 months and still don't know how to work it - taking 5 mins to make a coffee just too much time out of my day!!!! I am too impatient - when I want something I want it NOW!!!!

So many people offer to make me coffee you know and can't believe that I drink instant out of choice

We have one of those machines - P uses it to make expresso - I never use it!!! I prefer Gold Blend really... heathen... I know what you mean about the time, it's the mess too.... I'm sure it's a British thing.

Apart from thinking you are a coffee terrorist, is work OK???

How are you feeling? You seem to have chilled out slightly I hated waiting for the visa - told you I was impatient didn't I and I hate not being in control.......

Yes, thanks, I had a bad few days, but had a long talk with OH last night and we have decided to treat it as a temporary move - and if the house hasn't sold, rent it out. So after the bank holiday, I'll start working on that - getting letting agents round etc to get a letting value. I'm sure we need a new boiler for that purpose too as ours is ancient and probably wouldn't pass the gas safety inspection. Plus if it conked out while we were out of the country it would be a nightmare. Hopefully one of the flats will sell, which would give us enough to live on for a year. Then come back and try and sell again.. We might also find an architect and get them to put in a planning application for the site in the year we're away - which should make the property appeal more to developers. Not ideal and would mean we weren't as committed as we should be to Oz, but what else can we do?

Morning all, just.

I had the night from hell last night. My poor son was sick. I had to change to the bedsheets about 4 times last night, so in the end he slept with us. He was asking for glasses of water for what seemed every half hour.

On top of that dd woke me up at 6am.

So I feel like a zombie this morning. It's my OH birthday as well, but he can stuff it if he thinks I'm going to look after him today as well.

I am sure that it will all work out for you It will sell of course it will - just not a good time in the UK at the moment for selling houses particularly those on the higher end of the market...... The housing market is bound to pick up, it always does.....

I am sure that the flat in Roath will sell - it is a highly sought after area! I know that lots of parents buy investment properties for kids in UWIC in that area too.......

I don't blame you for biting the bullet though - sometimes you have to make things happen - it puts you back in control again!!! Did I tell you I was a control freak????

Our buyer is are to go to EA tomorow so fingers cossed it all goes smoothly and her figures stack up and their current mortgage offer from the bank is a good one.

Good idea about getting planning permission in for your house FA from listening to TV people like that sort of thing.

Have you thought about going to auction route you have a fair bit of land dont you they may want to build on it so they have two houses to sell and if you have planning permission all the better.

I know its not ideal but needs must.

Morning J - sounds a terrible night, you poor thing. I hope your son is feeling better today and it isn't contagious.....

Hope that today gets better for you. at least you have an excuse not to do anything as it is OH's birthday - is your son well enough to go out?? Maybe take your OH out for a slap up lunch and have an afternoon nap....

That's me too - have to have a plan and a schedule. It freaks me out when I can't control what happens. So choosing to let is my CHOICE - stuff the housing market!
