Which company did you use? We moved 1 mile up the road with Pickfords and they trashed loads of our stuff. It put me off so much that I am sending all my antique stuff to auction and getting rid of most things. Have to risk the sentimental stuff I suppose.Sending you a big (((

It is really depressing isn't it, I am with you and really pi**d off again today. Really do need to try and snap out of this. Jason works from home and everytime the home phone or his mobile rings I just look at him willing it to be the estate agent with someone who wants to look at the house.

I know how you feel, a lot of the stuff we had broken was irraplaceable. I was going to use that removal firm too - I had heard they were the best. I am very tempted to air freight the really important stuff. Not sure if that is any safer or not??Sending you some more big hugs. (((((

Lots broken, so badly packed. Washing machine and freezer packed with doors taped shut full of mould, dishwasher big dent and not working, tumble drier works but has all dicolured from a heat source. They even packed the books pages downwards and the backs are now broken, they were sh*t and I fed them and tipped them :curse::curse: I will let you know if the insurance is any good

I will be watching carefully what happens! We have our viewing on Wednesday, so if it comes to nothing we will think about the stamp duty thing too - as you know our stamp duty is over £30K like yours.
You sound very like me. We had the bright idea of selling the house early in the process so we were ready to go. It hasn't happened that way but at points I have been mega obsessed with selling. (Usually when some idiot promises they are going to buy the house, never to be seen again...:curse
For you, it must be a welcome relief to worry about selling your house rather than Paul. Hope his last treatment goes well.
