Re: Car Tyre Punctures

No the plug won't come out....if properly fitted....as it is effectively heat welded to the wall of the tyre. I find that the can's of gunk that have been mentioned before are more of a temporary...

Re: Buying a car after just landing

Re: Buying a car after just landing

Probably good to think about the full cost of a car bought in NSW and sold in Qld. If / when you do sell it then you will need to factor in either trying to sell it in NSW whilst based in Qld (and...

Re: Trains are so cheap!

Re: Skype Call with a recruitment consultant - What to expect?

I fear my experience of Europe , Australia and North America puts the vast majority of recruiters in the second hand car category with a volume mentality to put people up for roles (irrespective if...

Re: Skype Call with a recruitment consultant - What to expect?

Australian IT recruiters will read the Job description they have been sent (probably with no understanding of what it says) ask if you can / cannot do it, then ask when you can start and whats the...

Re: What should a relocation package look like?

I would make sure that the package has a clause which will pay for your return to your home location at the end of the contract.

Re: Comparable London salary in Sydney

Not a bad wage in Austrlia for a PM in Sydney. Salaries are deflated at the moment with more people looking than opportunities available. :D

Re: I don't want that Visa Paywave thingy - is there a bank that doesn't have it?

I am afraid you are correct with what is defined as "promptly". I find that you are usually just outside the "statute of limitations" and it is better that they get rid of this payment system to...
