We moved to Bris in July. Initially stayed in a furnished hotel apartment for 4 weeks then moved in to unfurnished rental till our container arrives (which should be next week fingers crossed).

As mentioned the suburb should be close to CBD and also close enough to work, so the commute is not too long.
As Odyssey mentioned there is no train, so I will have to drive to work.

Aren't these suburbs north of the river? I've been advised to stay on the "south side" to avoid traffic crossing the river.

Is there a train going all the way to Archerfield?

What happens if I have a new passport and my PR visa and entry stamp is in th eold passport.

I am out of Oz and will be moving in a few months.
