COntact a few of the agents and let them know wha you are after. Some will do furnished if you ask. (mine came furnished or unfurnished...but I had to ask)

Had an upgrade to first class on a flight to US but never any upgrade when flying to Aus.

I have. House been on market for about a month. No viewings at all. If it does not sell I don't need to worry. Fortunately I am in a lucky position...feel it for those who need to sell.

It's happens fairly regularly in the UK too. I know that near here some young kids delight in throwing rocks off bridges over the main expressway.

Applied via paper based method. (Brisbane office)
Paperwork arrived last Friday...approved this Friday

For those waiting for permanent visas...

Just got my permanent ENS visa through which took less than 5 days! I am on the CSL list.

Hope this gives an indication of the MUCH faster processing...

You are still young and if you want to do it then just go for it.

I would suggest that you do the right thing by your current school though and provide them with the required notice and leave on...

The GTP route is not accepted as far as I am aware.

I did not need to do the IELTS test but I think it should not be a problem for you as a teacher.

I have been through the process recently.

If you have enough points to qualify through the independent or sponsored route then you won't need to do the IELTS.

You will need approval from TA for...

It was the first one I applied for so relatively easy.

I found the estate agents awkward to begin with. Once they know you are serious then you should not have a problem.

I have managed to secure a rental (from the UK) and all my documents were accepted no problem.

Passport, police check, salary slip, employment contract.

I looked at AirAsia...you can get their business seats (not really that plush!) for the price of a standard seat on some airlines. What you need to consider is the additional expense of travelling...
