Definatley do it, dont stop to think about it or hesitate

We are only here once and life is short, you would only kick yourself about it in 25 years when your still teaching some ankle biters somwhere in blighty.

We had the same thing four years ago and it only made us want to do it more, and now we are here permantley and loving it

if your happy with your life rightnow and happy in your job and have your family and friends around you then why pack up and go ? nothing special about australia just another piece of tuff to stand on better you stay put build a life amoungst friends and family and live happily ever after
quote from Sherpa

It's not about Australia, it's about leaving your own little world. When I went home after 3 years many friends and people I knew were just doing exactly the same as they had been doing 3 years previously. Nothing wrong with that but I had experienced so much and seen things that they could only havew dreamt about. I'm sure OP wouldn't come directly out to Oz anyway..there's so much to do en route...India, Thailand, Malaysia etc etc etc

Dont live your life around a job. Theres a whole lot of people and places over here waiting to be discovered and great times to be had. Youve already booked your flight which means that you really want to go (so do it) you only live once hey?. Hit the road and eventually if you do go back to the UK another job can be found, - in your business. When your done in AUstralia you may want to carry on and go through Asia. Some people travel for years and love it and just keep travelling. So do it!. Dont get stuck in a job and then regret it in several years when you may be tied down. get it out of your system and hit the road. Its easy and fun My wife and I gave up good jobs in the Uk last year and now were over here, renting , got jobs (ish) and surviving. Now were in the sun, have new friends and a whole lot happier.
