I found that there is no equivalency of qualifications: I hold a B.A plus a Masters (and a PGCE and the NPQH for teaching) and I have found that unless the qualifications are from Canadian...

As a UK Secondary teacher with similar qualifications I went through the IQAS and the Alberta Teachers Association. The ATA were are more concerned with my O and A Levels.

You can apply to IQAS...

YES: IQAS and any other professional accreditation you can get. Some on this forum talk about 'equivalencies' but when you're here you will find the qualifications accepted must be from Canadian...

I sympathize and agree, we landed in July this year. I have applied for so many jobs that I have lost count. We decided that we would accept jobs that were very different from those we did in the UK....

Don't forget to add the marine insurance and the insurance for mould etc. It soon mounts up!
We used Robinsons (Morecambe to Calgary) and have a 20 foot container.

We flew to Calgary with Thomas Cook, upgraded to their premium economy with extra baggage. They didn't charge me extra for being over the weight limit with my bags either. 'm not a fan of charte...
