I think AirTransat still do, and I got a quote from Petsaway (admittedly it was for my cat), meeting them at the airport £490, which seemed almost £1000 cheaper than some quotes I'd been given....

I am also looking at the same thing at the moment and finding that Air Transat one way flight is about £1000 cheaper than an Air Canada return flight.

Interesting! I didn't realise they could go baggage. Guessing the hold there is still pressurised and heated then. I think I'll be checking into AirTransat myself as one quote I got just for a cat...

I spoke to Air Canada yesterday, they told me they no longer take pet from the general public, have to go through a pet shipper :-(

I am in the process of getting quotes at the moment for my cat. This was sent to me from Airpets regarding taking cats and dogs into Canada, thought you might find it useful as the rules changed...

My Sister-in-Law lives south of Edmonton (Westaskiwin - yes I know... why? :rofl:) and they always drive to Calgary when they fly back to the UK, they say it's cheaper. They always fly Air Transat.

Ah ha, I knew it wasn't on the list when my BiL applied but thought I heard it had been added, that's why they went on on TWP for him initially as a long haul trucker and the PR was done in parallel...

Don't know about Regina but our son will be 16 when we move to Ontario this summer and he will go into grade 11 in September (although he'd just finished grade 11 here, their grading is different) so...

You can get the shippers round to give you a free quote. Can be anything up to £5k for a 20ft container. The next question you'll be asking is.... who can recommend a good shipper!!! :rofl:

One thing I noticed in Alberta is the fact that if you get eczema then it can get worse. You'll probably have to moisturise more because of the dry climate too. My sister-in-law lives in Edmonton...
