Sorry - I can't help myself - but your grammar has become Australian ie the incorrect usage of is with plural - you should say "ARE there any aircraft engineers" OR "IS there AN aircraft engineer?"

Yes Melbourne is the place to be. We moved 3 years ago from Scotland and I was very homesick until we bought here in Williamstown, a very pretty place to live and only 25 mins from the city.

Another good thing about living here in W'town is it's a small peninsula so no through traffic, and NO FAST FOOD CHAINS!
You can avoid the Westgate by catching the train into the city - 20 mins in...
