I am an Aussie citizen and i havent lost my Citizenship (i was born in Tassie)... i came to UK when i was 13 yrs and travelled on my mums passport...i hadnt been back to Oz until about 8 yrs ago...

I was told by the Australian High Commission here in London that it was from the date it was validated not the date it was issued! God i hope they havent got it wrong!

You can only get a PRR visa if u have lived in Australia for 2years or you arrive back before the date the visa was validated! (ie we arrived on 27th march 2008 so we have to be back there on or...

My hubby wasnt pulled by the police and has never had a caution for speeding since we have been here or in the 21 years hes been driving!!! we just received the notice in the post!!!!!...

My hubby got a spending fine of $80 and 1 Demerit point on his licence.Not bad considering hes an ex driving instructor and never had any point on his UK licence and never got a spending...

We are going to Hobart Tasmania, my hubby got his Visa 21/12/08 it only took 8 weeks to get , but then again it was a spouse Visa! And the reason we are going to Tasmania is because i was born...

Have u tried Singaopre Airways they seem to be cheap at the moment! We have just booked with them to fly out on 25th march one way to Melbourne total cost for 2 adults and 3 children was £2048.

I went back to Tassie in July 04 ( their Winter!!) And found that all i needed was a fleece (jacket) not a proper winter Coat like here! But i will say one thing thou, you will need ur PJ's at night...
