Thanks from me too - we finally know what we're going to do. Mum is going for the temporary and then will apply for the permanent visa.

Yeah - thanks Welshtony - I think that's going to be the route we take - temporary and then convert to permanent.

I've had to wait till I'm back at work as my pc got shipped yesterday....

Collybabe i'm soooo jealous! We're up to our eyeballs in cardboard boxes as the shippers are coming tomorrow and are just soooo busy - could really do with a day on a beach to unwind a bit....

It's a minefield isn't it? I think we're going to look at the temporary visa which you can then convert to a permanent one. This may work out if no sponsor is required. If it is then...

Yes of course you are right - it's AOS I'm thinking of...

When I get over there in January my mum will definately meet the balance of family requirement and then by April hopefully...

It's awkward because no-one wants to buy a car over Christmas so I'll have to stick mine on in early December and hope that someone wants to buy his daughter a really BIG...

Could be anything from 2 weeks to 5 weeks from bond lodge - bubbly still in fridge.

Sold your cars yet? We've got to sell ours too but mines probably worth 2K and OH a bit less....

How's it going? No news yet - the CO has everything she needs to make a decision so we're in limbo again. The OH says that they wouldn't ask us to lodge the AOS bond money if they were...
