Re: rock and chocolate

We always take chocolates and sweets with us when visiting our friends in Australia and it's not a problem. You have to declare it but that's quite useful in itself as we find the queues tend to be...

Re: Putting Oz on Hold, feel a little down.

I know how you are feeling. I wanted to live in Australia and got my visa a few months ago. However, it appears that my qualifications, although good enough for my visa, are not likely to help me get...

Re: UK family allowance

Although I know where you're coming from saying that it's not in the same category there are not 'degrees' of fraud - if you knowingly claim for something you are not entitled to it's fraud full...

Re: How long for visa after medicals police clerance

Hi, that sounds like a long time. We applied for a 136 visa and were told it could take up to 12 weeks maximum (it actually took about 6 weeks) so I would chase them up if I were you.

Re: "Breaking a tenancy agreement" in the UK

Hi Clare,

I act as a guarantor for my sister who started with a 6 month tenancy like you. I think your brother will be liable for the money if you renew for a further 6 months. If the paperwork...

Re: Does FCMA count for anything in Oz?

Thanks for that. I'm quite happy to take a salary drop as I'm unlikely to have a mortgage to worry about (although I still want to have a challenging role and be required to use my grey matter).
