What do you do when you validate?
#1
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what you need to do in order to validate your visa? Apart from getting it stamped is there any other protocol that has to be observed?
Cheers in advance guys!

They won't stamp the visa....just stamp your passport as normal as you go through immigration.

No - nothing like that! I validated my visa at the beginning of Feb (just got back yesterday) and it was a bit of an anti climax (although a great feeling to have done it). I had to hand my passport over before my husband though as I was the primary applicant - it's one of those daft rules that you have to follow.

[/QUOTE]I know what a come down ah, they just stamp your passport and wave you through. I was so excited I had to point out to the immigration bloke that we were validating our visas and he just said ok, welcome to Perth!!!!!!!!!
