Commonwealth was easy when we had foreign exchange students. I believe you have to arrange it within a certain timeframe of arrival otherwise you have to go down the whole 100 points i.d.

All depends where in Rocky you have to get to and where in Yeppoon you live, as there are really only 2 decent roads out from the coast. Anything between 30minutes and an hour - time of day...

Hmmmm Gladstone..... not the first on the list for exciting social events. Tannum Sands/Boyne Island is quite nice but dont expect any real nightlife, it's good if you want the relaxing outdoor...

Good ones seem to be dwi (edigital as well owned by same people), t-dimension, d-d photographic, camera paradise.

The whole point of the Assurance of Support is that the Government does not have to fund the immigrant. This is in place for 2 years from arrival. After this period of two years they may be eligible...

Thats different to having a concession card. Just because you have a medicare card you dont get free prescriptions.
Medicare card just means you dont have to pay the full price of the medication...

Yes. We set up a migrant bank account with NAB prior to moving. Day we arrived, dropped into branch in Brissie to collect cheque books etc.
