Will my seriously obese and lazy kids turn into sports champs overnight just because we've moved to Australia? And Australian kids have not got x-boxes and playstations, have they, cos they all play sports and never stay indoors ever.

Why is it raining in Australia? I thought the sun shone all the time and everyone went to the beach after work? I went there the other week and there was a sign saying "closed due to weather" I don't want weather here, I thought I'd left all the weather in England ........

My kid only gets 20 hours of one on one learning support in the UK and I think this stinks, were want to move to OZ so the kids will have a better education.
Just had to pay 30 quid for a check up, crown and 2 fillings in the UK, its outrageous, looking forward to much better health care in OZ.
Immigrants are bleeding this country dry. How much centerlink will I get in OZ.
My friend wants to know if he leaves his credit card unpaid will they come after me - I mean him.

The same questions come up on the italian threads, but we get added ones like.
I don't speak Italian, so can you please tell me where I can find a job in an English speaking hairdressers?
I want to live near people who can speak English, where is the largest ex pat community? (We normally suggest London at this point)
I have a heart condition and my husband is also ill. Can we still get free medical care when we are in Italy?
I have heard that the taxes are high in Italy. Is it possible to keep my residency status in England when I move to Italy and pay my taxes in England.
I want to live in a small traditional Italian village. Can you please suggest one that has an English Dentist, Doctor, Hairdressers, Vets ....
