we brought EVERYTHING with us nearly five years ago and very glad we did. the tv's all needed an adjustment costing about $50 each and worked perfectly.
if you do this bring plenty of 4 way sockets...

dazah, sounds like your wife is doing well and i think she's lucky to have you too! i'd been here year and a half and had terrific pains and a swollen tummy for ages, twice incorrectly diagnosed...

look at oasis hong kong, they fly gatwick to hong kong only then you'd need to use another airline for the next leg. they are a budget airline, we fly with them in august.

fly via the usa - you get 2 pieces per person, up to 32kg per piece.... we did this, flew from manchester via los angeles and auckland to sydney. had a few days in las vegas on the way which was fun...
