Default Anyone Booked To Fly To Sydney Between 15 and 25 July? How Much?

Hi,

Has anyone booked to go to Sydney between 15 - 25 July and found a decent fare? We prefer manchester but will travel from birminham, heathrow or gatwick!

I've found it certainly is peak time with peak prices!

thanks in advance

Carmel

I know you have asked for Sydney, but we are flying Malaysian Airlines, 25th July from Heathrow-Brisbane, doing 3 hr stop in KL, and 30 minute stop in Sydney, to let people off, not to re-fuel.
Cost £2430 for 3 adults 1 child, one way.

we are coming from brisbane to uk early august (just booked last week) and found everything very expensive or not available. then remembered new airline oasis hong kong. you may be able to do what we are doing, get the gatwick hong kong with them - very cheap, stay over a night maybe to eliminate possible delay worries and look for a hk - sydney with another airline. we are from birmingham and gatwick not our favourite, but its worked out ok and we will rent a car to drive up.
our whole trip (brissie to hk is with cathay pacific) comes in at less than $4000 for the two of us. (that is a return trip btw)

sorry nobody seems to be going to sydney ( who have seen this yet!) me included.

I'm going to Brisbane in August and it cost £1800 one way for 3 of us from Heathrow with a stopover in Hong Kong.

Not quite what you're after I know but may give you some indicator of what people are paying for one way flights.

Have a look at Qatar airlines, I think booking site is called myqatar. You can get to Singapore with them. Then choose someone else for your sing-syd leg.
