Default Where do you stay when you arrive?

Hello

Just wondering where you stay when you first arrive in Oz? Do you stay in hotels or is there a company that can arranged accommodation from here?

How long for? Was the accommodation already arranged before you got there? Was it expensive? I quite like the idea of living in a caravan park! Just like camping with cheesy entertainment!

We stayed for 2 weeks, so we could look around for a rental. It wasn't all that cheap but it was the school hildays so the rates were higher, they did give us two nights free though, so that brought the bill down a bit.

It was quite nice, because it was on the beach front (although it was winter, so could have been better I suppose ). We treated it a bit like a holiday for the kids, which I think helped them settle a little bit.

There was no entertainment though, but there was internet access

Hi there

I am moving back to Perth at the end of May, and although I've lived there before, I was also struggling as to where to stay (quite cheaply!!!)
After trawling through realestate.com and getting nowhere with the agents out there, I eventually found a holiday let near where I want to be. (www.holidaylettings.co.uk)
This is costing me about £200 per week and is fully furnished with all the mod cons and bills incl. for a 3 bed house.

hope this helps????
