Agree with Steve, the bottom line for most IT people is that if you worked in London then you will probably take a drop in Australia but you will still earn a relatively decent income.....in the end...

I think the client is charged and not the contractor but if the agency also acts in a PAYG payroll capacity they will normally charge for the service, if you get it paid gross into a business account...

Again I think it is about areas....there were places I felt very unsafe in Perth whereas here in Melbourne where we live in Sandringham it has a very village like feel and is very safe and family...

We did use our UK seats until the kids out grew them then we bought Oz ones. The bottom line is I do not believe that your son was any safer in a Oz seat that our kids were in UK seats....otherwise...
