But i too cancelled several trips last year with BA and found the process fairly smooth and eaay to deal with. I currently have a voucher/credit with them...

Fwiw Trump never lifted the ban at all. He signed an order to do so on the 18th/19th of january 2021, Which was due to come into effect on the 26th.

Biden basically cut and pasted the original ban...

Thats the problem with demanding your citizens enter with a US...

and therein lies the problem. It is up to the individual to prove this status, if you do not have means to prove this then technically you are not a USC.

Because simply being born abroad as a Child of a USC (and meeting criteria to have a right to USC) is not enough to obtain a US passport, it may well and is often easier to obtain a passport and...

Exactly this, you have a right to USC its not quite the same as a US passport. Its an incredibly daft 'law' not even sure what the repercussions would or could be for entering on a 'foreign passport'

I assume because enough votes have come Bidens ways so far. It's a very small state. Estimated at 78% counted so far, I assume they can count what they have later today and won't have enough expected...
