Re: Permanent resident for work!

I mean yes, the overwhelming and compelling scientific evidence would stand to suggest that you are indeed wrong when it comes to your opposition to COVID-19 vaccines.

You can certainly disagree...

Re: Permanent resident for work!

You are of course, entitled to hold whatever beliefs you like.

I would however point out that there's a difference between accepting someone's beliefs, and respecting those same beliefs.

There...

Re: Permanent resident for work!

Re: How can we enter US without vaccine ?

It's been a hell of a week, but the comedy on this thread has properly cheered me up.

Re: Drug screening & background check. Confused

If the metabolites show up in your system then yes, that's exactly what they (or rather, the testing company) will do.

Once you demonstrate that you have an appropriate prescription for whatever...

Re: Where is the anger?

Yes there is - there are tests that distinguish between the S protein and the N protein.

Anyone vaccinated will only react to the S protein, whereas those with prior exposure to the virus itself...

Re: Where is the anger?

Every time a piece of genetic material replicates there is the chance of transcription errors, or mutations as they are commonly known.

They can happen in vaccinated people and they can happen in...

Re: Moving to OH November

From memory you do indeed get the full allowance in the US - it's not allocated pro-rata based on the amount of time you spend in the US during the tax year.

Re: Where is the anger?

The President has significant latitude to exercise the constitutional powers of the Executive Branch as he or she sees fit, with somewhat less latitude to exercise the powers that have been...

Re: Where is the anger?

Oh indeed, and the pertinent fact here is that the under Trump's order the ban would have lifted six days after he left office.

It was a blatant attempt to wipe the slate clean and pass on any...

Re: Where is the anger?

As I said, we’re talking about a reduction in your likelihood of becoming infected in the first place, not your viral load or your likelihood of transmitting it if you’re unlucky enough to become...

Re: Where is the anger?

I believe the delta variant is significant in that IF vaccinated people become infected their viral load is as high as the unvaccinated, but the underlying point still holds in that they are still...

Re: Where is the anger?

You certainly have the right to an opinion, but that's not the same thing as having a say in things.

That doesn't mean that you don't have rights...

Re: Where is the anger?

I think we're at the point now where we need to accept that there's now a risk there that's just never going to go away, not now that the virus is going to remain endemic in the human population for...

Re: Where is the anger?

It's not quite that low, but I believe the vaccines reduce your risk of contracting the virus itself by around half, which is still nothing to be laughed at when you consider that if you DO contract...

It's an Executive Order; it can...
