Default Permanent resident for work!

Hey there my name is Richard.
I'm 30 years old, married with 2 children in South Texas.
I have been a lawful permanent resident in the USA for over a year now.
I met my wife over here a few years ago and just life feels right here especially for my kids.
I'm currently out of work due to strict vaccination policies and mandates.
I'm just taking a shot in the dark to see if someone out there is in the position to hire a totally dependable and loyal fellow British man?

You probably need to say what you do for work for anyone to be able to suggest anything ?

And specify if you were terminated for not being vaccinated or if you quit because you did not want to work with unvaccinated people…?

I'm currently out of work due to strict vaccination policies and mandates.

What does this mean ....?

Terminated because you would not get vaccinated.....? or .....

Yes they want me to be vaccinated
I was only contracted by them through another company that would not fight for my right to a religious exemption.
oh and I did forget to mention this was a medical specimen courier position . A lot of driving and dealing with lab people and specamins, also pharmaceuticals.
kind of ironinc since I had been transporting positive covid specimens for over a year every day.

So you're totally dependable, ..... so long as you get your own way then.

What seems ironic to me is that someone would want to be anywhere near covid specimens (yeah, I know they're sealed in secure vials) and not want to be vaccinated.

Then it sounds like the solution would be to get vaccinated.

I was only contracted by them through another company that would not fight for my right to a religious exemption.
I'm not aware of any religious denomination with scriptures or teachings against vaccination.

I'm sure you could easily find another job without being vaccinated in Texas. Talk to Governor Abbott!

You're not going to find a very sympathetic crowd for vaccine hesitancy here generally, and especially not me. I have seen too many full body bags in the last 2 years.

Mildly curious if your religious exemption covered all vaccinations from childhood onward or is it just the covid vax that you are standing firm against? Also I hope and pray that your attitude, which you are entitled to, has not been extended to your children and that they have had or will have their childhood vaccinations.

BTW must have been difficult dealing with USCIS.

Presumably Texas has reasonable unemployment benefit provision - especially for a family with young children? But, if you can’t make a go of it over here, you could always return to the UK to live.

I'm not an anti vaccine person . I have had all my shots . My children have all there shots. This particular "vaccine"
is my issue . I have had covid twice and each time I was fine. Why in the hell should I risk my life and my beliefs to take a so called vaccine that may harm me?

Since this is not 'Take It Outsde' I will not drag this part of the forum into the quagmire.

Suffice to say that I strongly disagree with your assertions, and would love to know what 'religion' you ascribe too that expressly prohibits no vaccines other than for COVID 19. Such a religion would have to have been very recently developed and awfully convenient.
