I can see replacement plates on offer on both ebay and amazon. Am I breaking some law if I buy a set of these and fit them? I do not see how that is so different to what the chap is doing in that diy...

That is what we paid a month ago. The smaller one for our bbq was €20. I think we might get 'mates rates', brother-in-law gets them delivered to his farm and we get them from him for the same price...

Cheddar and stilton at Lidl from Monday. Also Worcester sauce (not L&P) for €1.20 a bottle, I paid nearly a fiver at the supermarket.

There are a couple of Asian supermarkets within driving distance. Useful mainly for eastern ingredients, they also stock quite a few...

Recently had some reading glasses delivered from China. Cost €5 and had to pay €2 import tax?! Also bought a 2nd hand book from UK on Ebay, cost was £13 + £3p&p, this arrived with no added fees.
