Rental Agents and Tax advice for Puglia
Hi all,
We're looking to move to Puglia (Brindisi province) and are looking for recommendations for reputable rental agents and tax advisors. Or any ones to avoid!
Feel free to private message if that's more suitable.
Thanks in advance!
Carl

Hi there,
Did you find anyone? We're also looking to move to that area and need a one year lease to start. Would like to find a reputable letting agent to assist so happy to hear your voice experiences.

Not sure where the original poster is looking but we are flexible. Looking for a rental anywhere along the coast in Puglia, south of Bari or in Calabria. It's a ways off for us so just getting our research done so we have an agent lined up when we are ready.

I love the way that the big lump of Italy that joins Puglia and Calabria gets no mention.....

I suggest trying something new like south Puglia, the Salentino area. Its really quite different down there, as in Monteroni di Lecce, Lecce itself is a beautiful small city, really nice people with all the amenities.
Calabria again, a whole new world from Puglia. Try the east coast, there ar a few mid sized towns along the coast in north just down from Puglia right down on the sea and then further down is Santa Caterina, both the Marina and the hill top versions are very pretty. I like being in another world, sheep and goat herds and hilly little towns above the sea.
Get down to Gaglaino del Capo, on the heel of the boot, the sea views are truly magnificent and the weather is milder than you'd expect along that coast. We found rentals fairly easily in all of those places I mentiond in Puglia. Long term furnished and unfurnished were all possible a few years ago. Well, it was pre Pandemix, still, I imagine that you will still find people friendly and willing to rent. They were doing some nice building for unfurnished rentals in Gagliano, it does get summer tourism, but its really nice down there year around. Ask around at cafes etc. and you will soon find people to help you even without using rental agents. English speakers as well!
Sorry i can't advise you on taxes as my husband was not employed at that time.
All good and best wishes for your future. πΈβ¨π³β¨πΈ
