You can compare the price with GPL at the garage. It costs about 80cents a litre. One litre weighs 0.52lkg. So 25kg of gpl at a garage would be €38.

If you have it delivered and fitted you pay a surcharge though.

You're doing well. Since March I have been paying €54 for 20kg; Sept. 20 was €40, Sept. 21, €50.
I have noticed that the small general stores in the higher villages charge 5-10 euros more than I am paying.
We live at 800m and use gas principaly for cooking and hot water and wood for heating, backed-up in the Nov-Feb period by gas central heating. Our expenditure per annum is of the order of:
. Electricity. €650
Gas. €700
Wood. €800.

I decided to check the local market.
Ferramenta A - 20kg Euro 54 (my supplier);
Ferramenta B - 20kg Euro 61.50*
Gas supplier - 15kg Euro 37 (doesn't stock 20kg!)
. 25kg Euro 67.

* Offers 10th bombola free.

For Walton:
ENEL. No special deal, just what two of us consume, but we each chide the other for leaving lights on, etc., so we must be squandering.
As things stand at the moment, we are on course to spend less this year than last.

15kg bombola here in San vito Dei Normanni is 27 euros delivered

we are really strict with our power usage as well....I am the light police 😂......maybe it’s because we have to fill water buckets up twice a day for the 16 dogs...20 chickens and 9 goats.......we probably go through one bombola every 3 or 4 months....we have electric water boiler....

If you are using a bombola for anything do not forget to check the expiry date of the flexible tube that connects the regulator to the appliance

Not just gas cylinder tubes. All gas appliances are attached via a flexible yellow tube that lasts 5 years.
