( Near ) Equivalent of John Lewis or Richer Sounds ??
Does Italy have any Hi Fi supplier / chain which could be said to approximate to John Lewis and / or Richer Sounds in UK ?
I.e. a merchant whose products are of good quality / relation to the price, and who provides excellent customer service in general and honours the guarantee if anything goes wrong during its duration ?
Whatever the answer in general to the above, would there be any specific store in Rome which anyone can recommend for purchase of a large ( 65") screen Samsung tv ? I wouldn't say price is not a problem but reliability of service and so on are more important.
The Prati area would be good if there is a choice.

We bought a tv satellite decoder from unieuro. " Sure, no problem. Bring it back for a full refund if you want" Hmmmm. It did not work so we got a local tv guy in to help. He sorted us out with a programmed decoder- on a free trial - which we later purchased.
We eventually got our money back from Unieuro, after a fight.
Better customer service from Mediaworld and Euronics - but none of them are like Richer Sounds. I would ask locals for advice for a local shop.

Euronics is probably the closest you're going to find to Richer Sounds. Try to find one of the smaller franchises for decent service, the big boys are shocking in my experience. If you check the link, just look for one with an independent name:

To be fair it's improving, especially if they know you. I set aside 2 days last week to do the dreaded tasks of the bank, the lawyer, the comune and some shopping and managed to fit it all in to a morning without a single complaint. Granted, I went armed with more documents than a murder trial lawyer and I ignored the driving, potholes and queueing system.
The smaller retailers generally provide excellent customer service, at least in Puglia.
