Not that long ago when the pound to euro was 1-1 and no panic exodus.Brexit will cause a few jitters,but as you say house prices and council tax rates in the UK...

Your only problem might be with insurance,it's getting difficult to get a quote for cars over 25 years old.I could only get mine covered by Liberty Seguros.
