Re: Books
Doves of war by Paul preston
tells of the experiences of four women in the Spanish civil war. One aristocracy and one ordinary woman on each side. Very enlightening.

SOme of his other books are available in English but for reasons I cannot understand, this one isn't.

Re: Books
A friend of mine has just recommended "The Crusader" by Michael Alexander Eisner. Can you please advise... has anyone else read this one?
