Re: Travel To the states while waiting an interview

Rete, if you'd took the time to look at the full thread, you'd see that he is exempt from the ban due to being the spouse of a USC.

OP - I don't think you're able to enter on the visa waiver...

Re: Texas Driving License

Booking an appointment, in a normal time (pre-COVID) was an option, but not a requirement.

I'll admit it's been 2 years since I lived in TX, but when I did, you could make a reservation OR you...

Re: US vs UK for uni. Advice?

I've worked for various large and well regarded US companies in IT (now "Digital") and I'm quite familiar with the ITMB course in Manchester, which it sounds like is your preferred track?

Re: Long Distance Mover?

We used Budd Van Lines for our most recent relocation; they were good. Packed and unpacked everything, no broken items. Not the furthest of moves though (3 hrs or so away).

For what it's worth,...

Re: Advice Required for Moving to USA and buying a business

I grew up "holidaying" in Florida, probably for close to the 15 years OP referenced as my family had multiple rental properties, which I had the privilege of staying in during our yearly...

Re: Car leasing Connecticut - where to start?

I would in fact do the opposite, models that have just been released for their first model year often have inflated residual values since they don't have data to back up how much of their value they...

Re: Completing n-400

Incorrect, if he has held his GC for longer than 5 years and ISN'T married to a USC, he's still eligible to file an N400. Your comment is only relevant for those not married to USC's that haven't...

Re: Car leasing Connecticut - where to start?

I agree with the above comments with the caveat that MOST leases are bad deals.

However - if you were planning on purchasing brand new AND would likely change it in 2-3 years, some lease deals can...

Re: I-693 and Immunizations

I agree with the above, when I went to get my medical done by an approved civil surgeon, he advised me that the lack of documentation for a few immunizations would be an issue. They did not accept...

Re: Applying for ESTA when already refused entry

This.

Please don't overlook this. Did she arrive in the US and then was refused entry at the border, or did she have a denied visa application?

If it's the latter, she can apply for an ESTA and...

Re: O visa: entry to Us during COVID-19

I'm aware of people on "excluded" visas that have chosen to travel to New Zealand for 14 days and then return to the US from NZ as a means of entry.

Re: B2 Expiry Date

Are you not eligible for the visa waiver (ESTA) program? Assuming not since you have a B2, but if you are, you could submit an ESTA and use the VWP to enter for up-to 90 days which would potentially...

Re: E2 Visa COVID 19 and stuck back in UK

You will be denied, that said - I've heard of folks travelling to non "banned" countries (specifically I've heard of NZ being one of those countries) for 14 days and then transiting back to the US.

Re: Do I need an esta.

The advice above is generally incorrect; you stated you're a permanent resident, therefore a greencard holder?

You therefore need nothing more than your valid passport and green card for entry....

Re: Our son has moved to the USA!

So without writing a whole essay, a couple of initial thoughts spring to mind.

1) It isn't 90 days in 2 years on the VWP (ESTA) the ESTA is valid for 2 years, but it's 90 days at a time, that...

Illinois! summer weather is fantastic, winters suck though.

I moved here from TX, I'll concede that I do definitely miss the 60-70 winters.

Maybe try Austin/Dallas? It's a little "safer" from...

Re: Abu Dhabi to Orlando - L1/L2

I think you're comparing USA vs UK rather than USA vs UAE.

Things are.. different.

Keeping in mind I also grew up with the "US being cheaper" mentality and the benefit of $2 to £1 exchange...
